Workshop Bookings
When you book a workshop, you enter into a contract with brightsonar for the provision of educational services.
Booking Process
To book a workshop, contact us with your preferred programme and dates. We'll confirm availability and send payment instructions. Your booking is confirmed once we've received payment and sent you a confirmation email.
Pricing
All prices are stated in British Pounds and include VAT where applicable. Prices listed on our website are current at the time of publication but may be subject to change. The price you pay is the price confirmed in your booking confirmation.
Workshop fees include all necessary materials, equipment, and instruction. Additional costs, such as travel to the venue or optional supplies for home practice, are your responsibility.
Payment
Payment is required in full before your workshop begins unless we've agreed to alternative arrangements. We accept bank transfers and major payment cards through our authorised payment processors.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a booking and receive a full refund if you notify us more than seven days before the workshop start date.
Cancellations made within seven days of the workshop receive credit toward future workshops rather than a refund. This credit is valid for twelve months from the date of issue.
You may reschedule your booking up to 48 hours before the workshop without penalty, subject to availability in alternative sessions.
If you're unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control, contact us to discuss options. We'll make reasonable efforts to accommodate you.
Our Cancellation Rights
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to insufficient enrolment, instructor illness, facility issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If we cancel a workshop, we'll notify you as soon as possible and offer either a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative workshop. We're not liable for travel costs, accommodation, or other expenses you may have incurred.
Workshop Participation
By attending a workshop, you agree to follow reasonable instructions from instructors and respect other participants.
Attendance Requirements
Please arrive on time for workshops. Late arrival may mean missing important safety information or foundational instruction. We cannot guarantee that late arrivals will be able to fully participate.
If you need to leave early, inform the instructor at the start of the session.
Health and Safety
Some workshops involve tools, equipment, or materials that require careful handling. Follow all safety instructions provided by instructors.
Inform us when booking if you have medical conditions, allergies, or disabilities that might affect your participation. We'll work with you to ensure appropriate accommodations.
You attend workshops at your own risk. While we maintain comprehensive insurance and take all reasonable precautions, we're not liable for injuries resulting from your failure to follow instructions or from inherent risks of creative activities.
Conduct Expectations
We're committed to maintaining welcoming, inclusive environments. Behaviour that makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe is not acceptable.
This includes harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behaviour. We reserve the right to remove participants who violate these standards without refund.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
All content on our website, including text, images, graphics, and designs, is owned by brightsonar or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Your Creations
Work you create during workshops belongs to you. You retain all rights to pieces you make.
Occasionally, we photograph workshops for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, inform the instructor at the start of the session. We'll respect your wishes.
If we photograph your work for promotional use, we'll seek your permission first.
